Kuet admission test result- merit or waiting list

The result of kuet admission test 2008-2009 will be published on 4 December, 2008 . If you are selected(merit or waiting list) then here are the information about EEE, CSE, ECE, ME, IEM, CE department of KUET. in the previous year the top rank department was EEE. students belonging to top 250( merit position) were likely to get admitted to EEE(or, their respective first choice). but most students made their way to kuet from waiting list.Students from Waiting list position 800+, also made their way to kuet. and in the year 2006-2007, students got admitted in EEE even from waiting list(waiting list position 150+). this was due to the fact that the admission test of Kuet was held before most of the universities(specially, before Buet). and students from waiting list position 100+ got the subject of first choice. but this is not the usual case in kuet.

Most students love to select EEE as their first choice in kuet. In the year(2007-2008),the first choice was

1. EEE( Electrical and Electronic Engineering) and after that, there were
2. CSE( Computer Science and Engineering),
3. ECE( Electrical and Communications Engineering),
4. IEM( Industrial Engineering and Management),
5. ME( Mechanical Engineering),
6. CE( Civil Engineering).

Though this list of choice may vary from person to person. but most often this is been the list of choice for last few years. and the thing to be noted that there is no list of hierarchy from the university. all the departments are of equal importance to KUET. and the students of each department gets the equal facility from the university.
